This wonderful property is located on a hillside surrounded by olive trees in peaceful countryside of rural Umbria. Situated 10kms from Spoleto it offers bed and breakfast, full board and half board. The owners Paul and Giusy run the farmhouse with a lovely family atmosphere, they produce their own olive oils, grow much of their own organic food. Their great passions are for food and gardening and enjoy cooking both local and international dishes in their restaurant, mainly using their own produce. 

 

The ancient farmhouse was recently renovated to provide 5 independent rooms, 2 doubles and 3 suites (sleeping 2-4). Each has its own bathroom with shower and television. The rooms have been beautifully furnished in the style of the local area.

All the rooms are located on the first floor and share a large living room with a wonderful open fireplace. This makes the perfect accommodation for a large group, especially family reunions and groups of friends.

The heart of the house contains the professional kitchen and the "Fienile", (hayshed) where there is a large open fire place used to cook Fiorentina steaks and bruscetta and a wood-oven where Paul makes the homemade pizza, bread and cakes.

 

The indoor restaurant is decorated in a tyrol style, very comfortable and warm in the winter with the large fireplace. In the summer months you can dine on the external terrace of the Fienile taking advantage of the cool of the summer evenings. 

In the garden there is a lovely swimming pool and you can enjoy trekking in the countryside around the agriturismo or fishing in the lake. 

Spoleto is famous for its "Due Mondi Festival", the year round artistic life, many historial  monuments, churches and the old roman theatre. The property is well located to take day trips to the some of the other wonderful towns of the area including, Assisi, Spello, Perugia, Cascia, Valnerina and many more.
