La Ranca is a wonderful two storied Umbrian property, which is part of the original 17th century farmhouse that was built on a hillside overlooking the ancient Antognolla Castle.  It has been beautifully renovated to provide accommodation for 4 in 2 double bedrooms.

The original farmhouse has been converted into 2 independent houses and La Ranca is the front end of the farmhouse with its own private garden and stunning views over the 18 hole Robert Trent Jones golf course and Antognolla castle.  

You enter the house from the front garden directly into the lovely sitting room. This has been furnished with very comfortable sofas, and contains satellite TV, a small library and stereo. French doors lead onto the east facing terrace and garden, which gives you sun throughout the morning.  This terrace is furnished with table and chairs, allowing you to enjoy breakfasts in the sun, or supper in the shade and a lovely grassy area to relax on.

 

Stairs lead from the sitting room to the kitchen which is very well equipped with a 4 ring gas top stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

There is a dining table that  can be extended to seat eight people and there is a wood burning stove. French doors lead onto a second terrace that is west facing with stunning views of Antognolla castle and has another table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals.

The master bedroom has a large queen sized double bed (which can be made up as two single beds if requested). The ensuite bathroom has a bath tub and shower, basin, bidet and loo.

 

The second bedroom has two single beds (which can be made up as a queen sized double bed if requested). There is also a single fold-away bed. The bathroom next door has a bath tub and shower, basin, bidet and loo.
