Il Convento Mincione 

Idyllically set amid sunflower fields and wooded hills in the northwest corner of Umbria, on the border of Tuscany. Il Convento Mincione is a 12th century structure that has been beautifully converted by the Halperin family into 7 totally unique luxury holiday apartments. Each apartment offers self-catering facilities for 2 to 6 people each with its own private terrace and shared use of the communal areas.

This enchanting vacation hideaway, is perfect for those special occasions such as intimate weddings, honeymoons, family reunions or group holidays. Il Sole, the large common room, is available for banquets and group use. It is tastefully- decorated in rustic Umbrian style, and boasts an antique fireplace. Adjoining communal kitchen offers facilities for all culinary needs. Exquisitely prepared banquet dinners are served by candle light in Il Sole, in the romantic piazza or in the 12c. courtyard.

 

In addition to the soothing qualities of the natural environment, the elegant pool and outdoor California hot tub, many  relaxing treatments are available to make your getaway at Il Convento Mincione also a period of rejuvenation.

Accommodation

Each apartment contains a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, combination microwave / convection oven and  grill. All beds and sofa beds have orthopedic mattresses and there are twin sofa beds in the living / dining areas. Each living room has its own stunning fireplace and each is equipped with a private safe.

There are washer / dryer facilities for common use by all apartments.

 

IL RE (sleeps 4 / 6)

This is a grand apartment with lofty ceilings, situated on the sun-lit first floor. It sleeps four people in two double bedrooms with two en suite bathrooms (one with bath / shower combination, the other with a shower only). There is space for an additional two on sofa beds in the living / dining area. There is outdoor dining for 6 on the piazza.

 

LA REGINA ( sleeps 2 /4)

An elegant first floor apartment featuring four windows with spectacular views. This apartment sleeps two people in one double bedroom with one bathroom with a shower, plus two additional people on sofa beds in the living area. There is outdoor dining for 4 on the piazza.

IL PAGGIO (sleeps 2)

A spacious ground floor studio apartment for two people with a double bed, sofa and cooking area plus one bathroom with a shower. There is outdoor dining for 2 on the percorso.

 

SETTE (sleeps 2)

A romantic ground floor apartment sleeping two people in a wonderful sleep loft with a double bed. There is a living  room and separate cooking / dining area and with bathroom with a shower. There is outdoor dining in the romantic courtyard.

 

OTTO (sleps 2 / 3)

This is a ground floor apartment with a delightful warm feeling  through out. It sleeps two people in one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower. There is room  for one additional person on a single sofa bed in the living / dining area. There is outdoor dining for 4 in the private garden area.

NOVE (sleeps 3 / 4 )

This is a spacious and elegant first floor apartment sleeping two people in one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower. There is a sleep loft  with a single bed  and an en suite bathroom with shower. There is room for one additional person on a single sofa bed in the living / dining area. There is outdoor dining for 4 on a private terrace with spectacular views.

 

DIECI (sleeps 2 / 4)

This height of luxury double floor apartment, is the perfect  spot for Honeymoon couples or a lovely family apartment. On there first floor there is a living / dining area and there is also a separate curtained off area with double sofa bed and  a bathroom with shower.  The second floor sleeps two people in one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom  containing bathtub / shower and double sinks. Stunning outdoor dining on private terrace with spectacular views.
